READINESS

. hetoimos ^2092^, an adjective (see READY, A, No. 1), is used with echo, "to have," and en, "in," idiomatically, as a noun in <2 Cor. 10:6>, RV, "being in readiness" (KJV, "having in readiness"), of the apostle's aim for the church to be obedient to Christ. Cf. READY, C.
