PITIFUL, PITY

eusplanchnos (2155), "compassionate, tenderhearted," lit., "of good heartedness" (eu, "well," and splanchnon), is translated "pitiful" in <1 Pet. 3:8>, KJV, RV, "tenderhearted," as in <Eph. 4:32>.
